Hockney- A photographer who was at the forefront of the joiner photographer movement.
emma, here is the challenge you can do better than this more annotation please, ref. Hockney he was a painter (from bradford) who worked with acrylic medium, he chose to work with the medium of photography in recording motion/people.. his early images were polaroids where he rearranged his snap shots to give an idea of a larger scale view of the composition he was interested in, he then saw that the composite images he created were in and of themselves an art form and this was the beginning of joiners.. (in short Emma) you need to do more research this is of the top of my head so you will have to look into the topic your self..
